Today is the 5 year anniversary of "Black Sunday" in FDNY. On January 23, 2005 three firefighters were killed at two separate fires. This is part of the audio and Mayday transmissions from the Bronx fire where 6 firefighters were forced to jump from the 4th floor of a tenement. As a result of this tragedy, FDNY spent millions of dollars to research, train and issue all of their members a Personal Escape/Safety System and Harness - Do You Carry One?

Got chills from listening to guy yelling about men down...all because there wasn't a PES to help them down from the 6th floor...very sad.
